5 July 2018 was the 70th Anniversary of the NHS and we had some bad news. A letter from our local NHS Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) telling us they plan to cut all grant funding to voluntary groups
These grants pay for a number of CVS services which help older and vulnerable people across South Derbyshire keep well, stay independent, and have vital social contact -including the support we provide to other local voluntary and community groups and volunteers.
The funding we receive from the CCG is more than a third of all our income so this is seriously bad news. CCGs across Derbyshire have made the same decision so many more voluntary groups across South Derbyshire District and countywide are also under threat
SOS – Save Our Services! Help us stop the cuts and save these vital community services.
